Sioux Falls Engagement Photos

I have been welcoming each and every one of these spring engagement with open arms! I’ve been so excited to start shooting outside again after all of the snow melted and things started getting colorful! And they were especially colorful for this gorgeous engagement session that took place right in Sioux Falls at Sertoma Park!

Claire and Alex are getting married next year in June, and we actually ended up doing their engagement pictures about a year before their wedding date! Finally, Some Good Weather!

We battled weeks of crazy weather trying to reschedule for their session for the best day. It seems like it was always going to rain, or be too windy to shoot. After weeks of waiting and rescheduling… we finally had the most beautiful weather. And I was so lucky to spend it with these two. Sunny skies and 70 degrees? Count. Me. In.

So… How Do You Know These Two?

Claire and Alex are actually from my hometown, so I know them very well! In fact, Claire’s family was one of the first families that I ever photographed when I picked up a camera! It means so much to me that they came back and did their engagement session with me, too.  I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year!
