One of my favorite wedding traditions that I wish I would have done at my wedding is a Father/Daughter First Look. Of course we love first looks for so many reasons… but I think there is something so precious about a father seeing his daughter on her wedding day for the very first time. So much pride, so much joy, and sometimes you even get a tear out of them. It just shows how much of a teddy bear dads are.
Well, we were lucky enough to witness THREE first looks on Allie and Cameron’s wedding day. She did a first look with her father, her stepfather, and her husband-to-be. And each one had their own unique qualities seeing her for the first time. Allie gave her dad and her stepdad each a gift, a handkerchief with a special message on it for either of them. And I think they might have needed it during the ceremony! š It was so nice to see how proud of Allie that they were. Cameron’s reaction was more like, “OH WOW!” And we get it. She looked BEAUTIFUL.
Allie and Cameron’s wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Icon Lounge located in downtown Sioux Falls, SD. It was down pouring all day long, so luckily the inside of the Icon Lounge is really a photo-friendly location, and there isn’t a single spot in there that’s not perfect for pictures. They also have a large outdoor seating area with an awning, so it’s perfect for getting some natural light photos, too. Which, as natural light photographers, is what we looooove.
Allie and Cameron are seriously, so, so sweet together. Each time they look at each other they just get that puppy love look in their eyes, and a smile emerges across their faces. It’s the cutest thing to watch, and we just adored working with them. Never have we ever heard a groom get choked up during the ceremony, but this just proves how much Cameron loves Allie. He cares about her so much, and the whole room knew it during their vows! We thought it was adorable.
Cameron and Allie, we sincerely hope that you love these previews from your wedding! We loved being a small part of it as your photographers.

Boudoir photography celebrates all the ways your crazy beautiful body has held you up, moved you forward, and turned you into a woman who can get. it. done. Sis, that is something that should make you proud.
