 I have personally invested in education since the very beginning of my business, whether that be through hiring a coach, joining a mastermind, attending a conference, or purchasing a course. I have actually joined a couple of masterminds and so many courses that I don’t even think I could name them all! 

As a lifelong learner, I am someone who can never get enough education. I absolutely crave knowledge and have made education a priority for myself and my company! Which is why I put together a list of the 5 reasons that we all could use a coach, and what they can help you with!

1. A Business Coach Can Lay Out a Plan to Get You From Point A to Point B

In our businesses, we often have lots of great ideas, but can struggle when it comes to implementing the small steps that we need to take to get us there. That is where a coach steps in! They can see your long-term goals and your vision and they will put together an action plan to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. 

Personally, I love checking things off of a to-do list, especially when someone else has given me the list. Your coach will be able to define and lay out the items on your to-do list and will give you the little steps you need to take in order to achieve your big goals!

2. A Business Coach Can Point Out Areas of Improvement 

Another reason you might want to hire a coach is to have someone on the outside pointing out your blind spots and gently showing you areas that you can improve in your current business. Your coach will be able to look for the areas that you need help and strength in, they can point out the areas that might be a little weaker so that you can turn around and fix them!

A business coach is such a great tool because when you find one in your industry, they will most likely been where you are and they can provide you with their expert advice and new ideas for your company! For photographers, you can find a coach who has been through the Black Friday rush and the end of summer slump and they can help give you advice and ideas that helped them.

Your coach will be able to see things from a perspective that is different from yours, they can see into the future and see the things that you might not have even thought of yet! They can open up your eyes and expose you to new marketing tools and techniques and help give you ideas and a plan so that you aren’t trying to come up with them on the fly.

Another reason that a business coach can help is because we all have self-imposed limits and blocks that we put on ourselves. One huge block that I see a lot of my clients facing is money, so many photographers struggle with this.
