He wiped a tear away from his eye.
So did she.
He was in a brand new suit.
She was in the white dress of her dreams.
This was the first time they had seen each other on their wedding day.
“You’re not supposed to cry,” she said, tearfully. “That’s my job.”
He wrapped her in a warm embrace. They stood there, soaking it all in. Today was the day they that had been waiting for. In just a few hours, they would be Mr. and Mrs. Cooper and Amber Clark.
Cooper and Amber’s wedding took place at the beautiful Cedar Shore Resort near Chamberlain, South Dakota. It was a brisk 36° day, but the sun was shining, and were we ever thankful for that! Just a day after Cooper and Amber got married, the state got hit with yet another snow storm. It seems like South Dakota might just decide to skip spring this year! Even though it was slightly chilly outside, you’d never be able to tell in their pictures. These two have the most contagious smiles I’ve ever seen. Their love for each other is so evident, and you can see in the way that they look at each other.
They wrapped up their wedding day exiting the reception through a tunnel of sparklers held by their closest friends and family. The new Mr. and Mrs. had officially begun their lives together.
