The way he looks at her, her sparkly dress and flower crown, his tuxedo vest, the snowy Black Hills in the background… alllllll of the details of this elopement are just incredible.
Which is why I just couldn’t wait another moment to blog it!
We met Tai and Josh at the Spearfish Canyon Lodge for their elopement last week. We love this location because of the famous scenic views, but we especially loved the freshly fallen snow dusting all of the trees. It just added this extra source of magic for their wedding day! The sun glistened on the snow and added extra sparkle to Tai’s already sparkly dress. (By the way, isn’t her dress incredible?!)
When I had first posted a few sneak peeks for them on my Facebook and Instagram, our followers went WILD. I was being stopped everywhere in town and I heard so many wonderful comments about their day!
But the number one question I was asked, was “Did they have any family at their elopement?” And the answer was YES! They had each of their immediate family and some friends attend their private ceremony, which was just outside the Latchstring Restaurant. I don’t think their elopement could have been more perfect.
They told us after the ceremony they were going to head to Deadwood with their guests, which is one of our favorite spots out in the Black Hills! They met in Deadwood, they were engaged in Deadwood, so it was only fitting that they celebrate their marriage together there as well, right?! We think so!
Enjoy these pictures from Tai and Josh’s Spearfish Canyon elopement in the Black Hills! 🙂
