Ohhhh these two!!! Tracy’s smile is one of those that just makes you fall in love with her immediately. She was SO excited, joyous and wonderful from the very start. From the second I asked her and Terry to just look at each other and giggle, I knew I had the perfect couple for an engagement session. Tracy always had this amazing smile on her face, and you can’t help but to just smile right back at her.

When we arrived, the sunlight was shining bright, and the temperature was pretty good for a late October day. The one thing Tracy had said she wanted in her pictures were fall colors. I said, “Perfect. I know just the spot!” Two days before their engagement session, a huge wind storm came and knocked all of the pretty leaves off the trees! I thought Tracy would be devastated, but of course she was perfect with everything. And we actually found quite a few areas where the autumn colors were still present, and personally, I think the pretty sunset that evening made up for it 😊 I knew that it was going to become a favorite engagement session. And it did!!

There were quite a few cool details that I really loved about this shoot. One of them being that Tracy wanted to visit downtown Huron for a few pictures. I always like downtown pictures but I just don’t get to do them often! Also, look for a surprise from Tracy and Terry’s alma mater!

Tell me how he proposed!

“We were a trip in Colorado at Steamboat Springs snowboarding. For Tracy this was the first time snowboarding ever. After the second day of snowboarding and Tracy falling on her butt many times. We went to the top of the peak on a very snowy beautiful day, and that’s where Terrence got down on one knee and proposed!”

For the GROOM: What things do you love the most about her?

Terry: “Tracy has such a corny laugh, but it always makes me smile. Her sense of humor has to be one of the most interesting I’ve seen. Realizing their was someone out there as weird as me was such a relief. Tracy has mesmerizing green eyes that are hard to look away from and some of the most spicy dance moves I’ve ever seen. I love everything about her and couldn’t ask for a better life partner.”

What things do you love the most about him?

Tracy: “I love how passionate he is about his job and music. Every time he talks about his job you can tell he really cares about the music and kids. I love hearing him talk about his job everyday when he comes home from work. Also love his beautiful green eyes.”
