Who says boudoir has to be soft flowy outfits and lots of pink? Certainly not me! This entire session was an alt-girl’s dream boudoir session. When Miss K came to her session with her blue hair, tattoos, and incredibly edgy piercings, I was in awe. Put it all together with the fishnet vibe and it’s absolutely magical.
The non-traditional outfits were one of my favorite parts of this session. Not only was the fishnet a total hit on its own, but the cut T-shirt with the crossback panties looked so damn cool. There were some even cooler shots with the shirt and the piercings, but in order to “play nice” for Google and the rest of the internet, we’ll keep it tame. (At least, for now.)
There’s so many ways to find your own boudoir vibe and it all starts with what is the most comfortable for you. You never want to come to your session not loving the way you look (or feel) in a piece of lingerie. (Or something else, even!)
This client had this incredible alt girl feel to it and whatever you pick will be right for you. Maybe you love something with a bondage feel. Check out this super trendy mask that fits that perfectly. Or, you could be the type who loves tons of lace! Chunky sweaters and tall socks can even be your thing. It doesn’t matter! As long as you stay true to you.

Boudoir photography celebrates all the ways your crazy beautiful body has held you up, moved you forward, and turned you into a woman who can get. it. done. Sis, that is something that should make you proud.
