Guess what? My first client returns to the studio in this blog post! Yep, you heard that right! Rewind a few years with me to the start of Emma Christine Photography. I was a wedding photographer at one point in time who pivoted into the world of boudoir. I just needed one person to take a risk on me and let me capture their photos. Enter this beautiful lady!
She took that risk on me, and the rest is history! I have since photographed over 200 women in my studio, and it all started with her.
When she reached back out for her second shoot, I was thrilled. I mean, heck YES, come back and take more photos!
Not only did she get another empowering experience where she can walk away feeling like a badass (because she is one!!) but, she also got to experience how much I’ve grown as a Sioux Falls boudoir photographer. There is so much care and intention that goes into posing intimate portraits. Not to mention lighting and camera gear. Or the power of experience. I’ve invested in courses, flown to other countries for workshops, hired assistants and built a business I am proud of. And watching her get to experience that growth firsthand, was a really cool experience for me as a photographer!
We started our session off as we always do, with hair and makeup glam in the studio!! I love this part of your day – yapping about everything in your life that led you to this point. Talking about outfits, and insecurities, and relationship. Peak girlhood.
Then we picked outfits together! For this session we went with a royal blue bodysuit with floral appliqué detailing and a green two-piece set with garter attachments. And at the end we did a twist on the classic “just the sheet” look and did “just the white button down” look. A favorite of mine!
After this amazing day together in our Sioux Falls boudoir studio, I can confidently say that when my first client returns – it’s a good time.
Thank you for trusting me with your intimate portraits. I am so honored to document you & help you feel empowered and confident AF.
Boudoir photography celebrates all the ways your crazy beautiful body has held you up, moved you forward, and turned you into a woman who can get. it. done. Sis, that is something that should make you proud.
I’m Emma, a Sioux Falls Boudoir Photographer. Helping people feel their best has always been part of who I am. Before focusing on photography, I worked as a nurse, and now I use that same expert care to help women feel like a million bucks. Oh my gosh, it is the best.
