Blooms, fluffy dresses, and these TWO 😍 OH MY! This engagement session near Mitchell, South Dakota was full of some of my very favorite things. Alexis and Justin are such a special couple to us for so many reasons, including the fact that we got to know them before they were engaged! You see, Alexis is a photographer, too. So we have known each other for almost a year. She’s been my second photographer when Jon couldn’t make it, and we’ve also photographed each other! What an absolute JOY it was to have them in front of my camera – this time for their ENGAGEMENT SESSION!

Justin and Alexis are *such* a delight to be around. Jon and I could. not. stop. smiling during their engagement session. These two high school sweethearts just smile and giggle away with each other, making photographing them a breeze. We are literally counting down the days until we get to photograph their wedding day and bust a move on the dance floor with them!
