Wanna to see what it’s like to go from nerves to confidence? Look no further! This client was a classic example of: using the boudoir process TO feel empowered... not waiting until she felt empowered to book a session.
These experiences are launching pads to the next level of self-love for you. They are moments in time where you can step out of the normal, and step into a bubble. This bubble is a safe space in the studio. You get glammed up with professional hair and makeup. And that time of the day is some of my favorite. When we can slow down together and really lean into the experience. I can see your mask falling off… the worries melting away… and your awareness of your power (which is always there) growing.
When I asked this client how she felt walking into her session, this is what she said:
I was nervous about how I would feel and if would spend the whole time thinking about how I looked. Turns out I didn’t worry about a single part of how I looked the whole time we were shooting.
If that doesn’t convince you to take the leap and book a session!!
She even said she wishes she could do a boudoir session more often! That’s when you know it’s about more than spicy photos and gifts for a partner… it’s about the transformative experience of seeing yourself differently.
This client chose a classic look for her session. A black sheer bodysuit with beaded detail. It was the perfect compliment to her blonde hair. And the makeup artist nailed her look! Which happens often because American Beauty and I work together all the time, and she knows exactly how to apply makeup for my photography + editing preferences! (Which is a win-win for my clients!)
We shot around the studio before finishing the session with some “just the sheet” images, which are always a client fav!
When I asked her what she thought after the session, this is what she said:
As a Sioux Falls boudoir photographer, I will never get tired of watching my clients go from nerves to confidence.
So whatcha waiting for? When are you booking?
Boudoir photography celebrates all the ways your crazy beautiful body has held you up, moved you forward, and turned you into a woman who can get. it. done. Sis, that is something that should make you proud.
I’m Emma, a Sioux Falls Boudoir Photographer. Helping people feel their best has always been part of who I am. Before focusing on photography, I worked as a nurse, and now I use that same expert care to help women feel like a million bucks. Oh my gosh, it is the best.
