Alright photographers, this boudoir session questionnaire is just for you!

 

A boudoir session questionnaire is a great way to kick off your client’s experience with you! This helps communicate what their expectations are in a neutral way. I like to use Honeybook to send my client questionnaires out. This keeps all of my clients’ information organized in one place, helps elevate my client experience, and keeps me sane!

 

When do you send a boudoir session questionnaire?

 

I usually send my clients a questionnaire at least a month before their session. This gives them enough time to fill it out thoughtfully, but also enough time for me and any of my team members to review the information.

 

What should I ask in a boudoir session questionnaire?

 

This is up to you! You can gather all of the information that you need for their shoot in this questionnaire. You can also use the questionnaire to learn more about them, why they want to do a session, and why they chose you.

 

And just because I love you, here are the questions that I ask in my boudoir session questionnaire! If you don’t want to come up with your own questions, just steal mine! This is a great template to start out with.

 

My questionnaire:

 

1. What’s your full name and mailing address?
2. What is your birthday?
3. What do you do for a living?
4. What’s the best way to contact you?
   • text
   • call
   • email
5. Why do you want to do a boudoir session?
6. What type of makeup do you prefer?
   • Natural
   • Smokey eye
   • Somewhere in the middle
   • Let the artist decide
7. What size bra and underwear do you wear? (I have a client closet that I’ll pull items from for my clients to use during their session)
8. What do you love the most about your body?
9. If you’re doing this for a partner, what do they say that they love about you?
10. Is there anything about your body that you would like to de-emphasize? (I will use this information to help pose them)
11. Have you give any thought to a model release yet? (this is the agreement for me to use images on my website or social media)
    • Full release – you can share all of my photos
    • Partial release – some of my photos can be shown, but I’d like to choose which ones
    • No release – I’d like to stay private!
    • This will be signed after your boudoir session, so don’t worry if you haven’t made up your mind yet!
12. What products or collections are you considering? (Link to your own pricing guide)
13. Are you considering a prepayment plan?
    • Yes, let’s set something up!
    • No, I’ll pay in full at my session
