I’m really excited to show you these photos today! My client chose a maroon lingerie set for her boudoir session, and it looked SO DAMN GOOD on her!! I loved the zipper detail on the bottoms, and the scallops on the top!

But she didn’t even need lingerie to have a fantastic session! Because more than anything, she showed up and stayed open to the process! When I asked her why she chose Emma Christine Boudoir, she said the positivity shown on online posts what were gave her the courage. (Shout out to all the women who let me feature them on Instagram!)

But she started off with the same nerves as anyone else. I mean, it’s a vulnerable moment. Being naked in front of a stranger! But beyond that, sometimes you carry a fear of not feeling positive about yourself in the studio.

My client expressed all of this to me about her session, but she showed up anyway. (And knocked it outta the park with her maroon lingerie set I might add!)

Boudoir isn’t about working up the courage to book a session. It’s about booking a session to gain the courage for your everyday life.

So this goddess arrived at the studio in the morning, ready and willing to see herself in a new light. America Beauty was there to help her feeling incredible too. She does hair and makeup for my sessions, and can design a look that is specifically for my shooting style. (Talk about dream team!!)

We spent the morning talking and laughing, sipping mimosas while she got her glam! Then it was time to shoot! We picked the outfits for the session together beforehand and then I walked her through each pose. Carefully showing her how to arch and point her toes and reach. Did I mention I recommend doing yoga before your session? haha

We moved through her maroon lingerie set, onto just the sheets. And by this point she was FEELING the confidence vibe. I loved watching her power emerge and skyrocket. Yes please!

Afterwards, when I asked her about her favorite part of the session she said: “The encouragement you gave me I feel more self positive and I’d definitely recommend you to annnnyonne!”
